   Some times you see "window Blinding" where rows of the TV image are updated out of sync with other rows like a set of window blinds was in front of the image. (This happens with a really complex image when the camera moves).

   Sometimes you see a white part of the screen break up into rainbow patterns for an instant. Some times you see thin horizontal lines between areas of contrasting colors.

   According to the first page below (from the Canon website), it does not take static images. The second url is a downloadable .pdf file specification sheet.

   To connect to a computer it uses a DV Connection (also known as iLink, Firewire, and IEEE1394), or AV Connection. (The third url below shows you a picture of a DV cable.)

    mi pare il minimo lasciare il deposito cauzionale per il valore della macchina. Comunque di solito il deposito si lascia “bloccando” sulla carta di credito l’importo. Che poi viene sbloccato alla riconsegna della macchina e al controllo che non ci siano danni. Se ci sono danni vengono valutati secondo un listino che dovrebbero darti al momento del noleggio.

    There really isn't much info to go on here, but I'll take a stab at it.

    First of all, check your camera settings. My camera, a Kodak, has several choices about how large the picture is going to be. When I say large, I don't necessarily mean the size of the picture, but the size of the file.

    Digital pictures use memory. The more memory (and pixels) you use, the more definition the final picture has. JPGs are the most common form, but you can also use a TIFF format which will not only use more memory but you can blow pics up larger. One thing that may be wrong with your pics is that you are not using enough of this memory.

    Without knowing what type of camera you have, I can't be more specific than to say look for something like "photo quality" in your camera's menu, then set it at the highest or second highest setting. The pics you took with your camera may lack the resolution or memory to become larger pictures.

    The second thing you can check is the software you are using. Go to http://www.downloads.com and download some freeware editing tools that seem simple. Install the program. Right click on one of your thumbnails and choose the "open with" option and select to open the pic with the new software.

    One of two things will happen. Either the picture will still be pixilated – I think that's what you meant by distorted – or the pic will open perfectly.

    If the pic is still bad, your camera is at fault. If the pic is good, it was a problem with your photo editing software.

    For more specific, helpful info, go to the website of the company that makes your camera. They should have some FAQs that will help you.

    If you don't have the little picture of a timer that Tom mentions, try this. Some of the "entry level" Canon cameras require you to use the menus to set the self-timer.

    Press "FUNC" to get the menu display.
    Toggle down to the third icon, which is a rectangle, for the "Drive Mode."
    Toggle to the right until you reach the delay that you want to use.
    You can choose 10 seconds, 2 seconds, or Custom delay.
    Press the "FUNC" button again to confirm your desired delay.
    When the delay that you want is displayed, set up your picture, push the shutter button and then the red-eye reduction lamp will blink once per second until the picture is taken.
    You cancel the self-timer by going through the same series of actions, but choose the single-frame (rectangle) all the way to the left on the menu bar.
