I hate the way he talks and says “quality” and “technology”!!!
the photos and the music at then end has convinced me! This is DA SHIT BRO!
This video rules! Canon all the way.
You don’t have to be a pro to shoot like a pro with canon’s dslr cameras. I’m glad I chosed canon over nikon. Canon #1!!!
(continued again…)so if there’s anyone who would seek my advise on what dslr to use as a newbee, i’d recommend the nikon d40 (that is according to my personal experience) after learning the ropes of photography, its your choice… i just happened to favor the 50d due to its fast shooting and 15.1mpx. its my taste.
(continued)now, deciding to up the ante, i’ll be owning a canon 50d bacause its a step above the nikon d40 i used. “why not the nikon d90″ you ask. its because i have chosen action photography as a specialization. according to my reseach, i concluded that the canon 50d fits me. i am no pro, but i’m getting there. (to be continued again…)
i think both brands (canon and nikon) are awesome in their own rights. as a beginner, i started with a nikon d40 mainly because its cheaper here in the philippine. the D40 served me pretty well, and has helped me in my toughest times as a photography student. (to be continued…)
Lol, I got my lens’s IS fixed a week ago. The IS looks so cool(they gave the broken IS back to me).

Gleim has a good review course. They also have an online option.
They've been in business a long time. I used their books when I studied for my CPA.

I would suggest Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch LCD with HD movie shooting capability plus HDMI output.
Me too!
I wiil dude, thanks for advice.
Samsung held a late unveiling for multiple new cameras at PMA today, including two new semi-rugged compacts. Of these, the AQ100 is the most durable and is designed for shallow water shooting. It keeps working at depths as low as 10 feet and has a special Aqua mode that tunes settings to get better shots in an underwater environment….
Ponies did a good job summarizing the needs of each type.
Digital SLR is required for photojournalist and sports photographer due to the need for automatic controls and the ability to send the photograph to the agency very quickly.
For landscape: A rangefinder is the best kind. Since there is no mirror, the lens can retract much further, making it much easier to have a wide angle. SLR wide angle lenses are large and expensive. Due to the wide angle and resulting huge depth of field, you don't even have to focus often. Zeiss Ikon SW and Voigtlander Bessa R4A are both good choices. Both Carl Zeiss and Voigtlander make several awesome wide angle lenses. Both are film cameras, however, it's best to stick to film (and slide film at that) here, due to the better detail and colors. The results from a film like Velvia or Kodachrome will trounce any digital.
See here:
Portrait – Many different cameras will work here with the correct lens: something like an 85/2 lens. If you get a fixed focal length lens as opposed to a zoom, you will get a slightly better picture as zoom lenses sacrifice a wee bit of quality to be able to zoom. A wide aperature creates a small depth of field helps you seperate the subject from the background.

Taena! Nag sink in! Ang lapit na ng review! Pakshet!!
so are the tabs the jerry c tabs or funtwo? tbh i prefer the funtwo version…….?
consider the Panasonic FX01 (or newer FX07 or FX50). It's cheap, has excellent image quality, built in OIS and has a 28mm wide angle.
Or- If you want the ONLY compact camera that takes clean high ISO photos (low light sensitivity)- Go with the Fuji F30/F20.
great music Michael.
- The Winter and Summer Series are very popular. Still some slots available for tomorrow – hopefully frost will stay away!

Fully charged batteries work best. As for your old camera, you probably used ordinary disposable batteries for it. Digital cameras are power hungry devices. The absolute minimum is alkaline. For disposables, Energizer Lithium is the best. If you prefer rechargeable AAs, get the highest mAh rating you can afford for longer lasting power.
Some cameras have their own unique battery size. You don't have much choice with these so it would be advisable to get a back-up battery just in case.
i like the old its easyier to hold than the ds light.. its too small!
x box 360 sucks
If you needed more proof that rumors of plasma’s demise were greatly exaggerated, just look at Panasonic’s latest, the G20. FlatpanelsHD took a 42-inch model fresh out of Panny’s massive new plant and ran it through a gamut of tests. The 1080p panel with its 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio blitzed all of them, delivering the infinite viewing angles, deep blacks, and rich colors that are the hallmark of charged gas, and doing so without the annoyance of active cooling fans. That said, the improvements here over the previous G10 series are said to be evolutionary rather than revolutionary, with black levels about the same and network functionality little improved, meaning current owners don’t need to feel too bad. But, if you don’t mind waiting a little longer and paying for the latest and greatest, this looks to be it. [Thanks, John] Panasonic G20 HDTV review shows plasma’s still got it originally appeared on Engadget on Tue, 02 Mar 2010 10:23:00 EST. Please see our terms for use of feeds….
If your budget allows, get an SLR Digital Camera. They are not real expensive, but more so than a regular digital. The slr stands for single lens reflex. It is like a regular 35mm camera, with changeable lenses and filters and such, but uses digital media to store the picture. They take stunning pictures, and are adaptable to any setting by a simple lens or filter change.
The Nikkon D-70 is one to look at, as well as many others.
I bought my wife a D-50 several years ago, and she loves it to this day. The D-70 has a few more modes, which make it lots easier for newer photographers. You don't have to worry about all the settings as much that way, and can just take high quality pics right off the bat. Then, once you learn more about photography and your camera, you can really get to work!

I’m completely in favor of life imprisonment with no parole. I don’t think of it as a free ride, since it’s not like prison is, y’know, fun. I’m also pretty disturbed by the idea that the point of putting someone in prison (or executing them) is out of revenge or hatred.
