“Don’t write off the other manufacturers like Sony and Pentax and Sigma”. What about Olympus ? They have great lenses and are well specified.

@markaurelius61 I completely agree and didn’t mean to ‘Dis’ Olympus. I reviewed one for DSLR User magazine a year or two ago and it was a great camera. The message is that ALL mainstream camera manufacturers make great camreras – it’s just a question of choosing the right one for you.. Cheers – Mike
