it’s a nice Cam i one to !what I like most about it is that it is compatible with old Minolta AF lenses so you can purchase cheap lenses for it and they work perfectly!
I have this camera, and being somewhat new to photography, I was wondering if you could help me with a query. I have noticed that the exposures take quite a long time. Even with the shutter speed being capable of up to 1/4000, the camera rarely goes beyond 1/100 indoors in normal lighting, and 1/300 outdoors on a bright day. Would you consider this to be normal for this camera, or some sort of issue to adress, because as I see it, it is not performing as it should.
what lense do u have on it ? Kit-Lense ?which programm do u use: Auto, P, and so on?
I have expanded my knowledge of this camera since the time of my previous posting, so I am no longer in need of assistance. Thanks anyway.

There is usually some kind of "reset" sequence you can use on most cameras with involves pressing two buttons at once. Some companies even make it easy by marking the two buttons with a green dot or some other way.
Look in your owner's manual under "reset"

You do have something going for you from their lack of response. They cannot fire you or let you go because they haven't given you that review. Reviews are for their benefit as well as yours. If you cannot get the feedback to correct any problems, they have no recourse to let you go. And, if they do, you can sue them. Typically, if they are not anxious to give you a review, that old saying "No news is good news" applys. ~♥~

Sounds like a Digital Single Lens Reflective is the way to go for you. Check some of these out:
the one thing that's similar is that it still presents a picture. But there are multiple things that an advanced digital camera can do that a point and shoot can one of which is that they can zoom in automatically and u can upload the files to your computer and they almost always present u with a clear picture
Since cost is not an issue i would recommend NIKON D80 with 70-300 vr ZOOM.You will never regret.I have a Nikon D40 with 55-200 vr which is good enough for me.Hope this helps RAJA

More notes on #1: We’re thinking that a better heat sink may help. Now, we’re only using air, mostly, which is possibly all they recommend. Fins would be better, Pranav thinks we have some of these. The manual should be checked to see what exactly they recommend. I know Evan wasn’t using heat sink, but on the other hand, their tweezers seemed much less stiff than I would have expected, consistent with this same issue.

Hmmm, good question. First I have to say that we have done training videos on all of them, so I have no particular bias. Having owned each one for a couple of weeks each. I would choose the D0 or the Sony 200. They focus the best and take the best pictures in my opinion. Yeah the hard drive is intact. In fact, I'd recommend getting an external hard drive, putting the hard drive that is in your fried laptop into a difference computer and saving all of your files. Or you can have the tech that replaces your motherboard do it for you.
It is expensive, I checked for my Dell Latitude D600 and it was $350 for a refurbished board, and that wasn't including installation fees

That was the state of a Sony Alpha A200 when the author of these photos got it. It was… Let’s say someone trod it down several times. The rear view is the same – broken LCD leaked, protective plastic cover was missing. It was absolutely clear that there’s no way to repair this poor camera. So a curious mind and a screwdriver were set on foot.

Sony released the 20, 60 and 80GB PS3 models and all were Backwards Compatible using either the PS2's "Emotion Engine" CPU (20 and 60GB) or a software emulator program (80GB model) !
Yes ! Sony announced that there will be another 80GB PS3 available that will come bundled with the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid: Guns Of The Patriot game as well as the Dual Shock 3 controller and Sony states it'll have both hardware and software Backwards Compatibility ! Hardware = The PS2's "Emotion Engine" CPU installed as the 20GB and 60GB had and a software emulator program as the recently discontinued 80GB used !
Note: Sony has stated that this MGS bundle 80GB PS3 will play a "limited" number of PS1 and PS2 titles so who we'll have to wait and see what games will or will not work !
Some retailers still have some 80GB models still in stock ! ToysRUs had some listed on their website just the other day so if you're looking for one that has BC, try searhcing the net !
Keep in the mind that the current 80GB model will not play all PS2 games as it uses a software emulator program to mimic the PS2's EE CPU. Roughly only 75%-85% of PS2 games will work on the current 80GB model !

I have a Panasonic FX33 – a compact which easily fits in your pocket. It has 4.6 times zoom, which I have used to get photos of insects while on a trip to the Amazon jungle (for larger wildlife, further away from you, a better zoom is required). I also have fantastic photos of wildlife in the Galapagos islands.
The camera has stabilisation (great if you're on a small boat or train, and therefore a bit wobbly), face recognition, easy focussing. It is simple to use and excellent all round.
No matter which camera you choose, I would recommend that you buy a second battery and carry it with you (the FX33 has a flat, special battery for compacts, not the AA type). With the features and the flexibility of digitals – ie zoom, photo review and the fact you can take lots of photos and delete later – you can use up a battery quite quickly (particularly when getting used to the camera).
